I have spent 25+ years building software, most of it for banks and payment companies. For nearly ten years I led software architecture at Fiserv across Lending, Investment, Cards and Digital Payment Solutions, running a 35-person engineering organisation while staying close to the technology.

  1. 2016 – 2026

    Manager, Software Architecture

    Fiserv, Pune

    • Led architecture and engineering delivery across Lending, Investment, Cards and Digital Payment Solutions.
    • Owned architecture for digital payment and merchant transaction processing handling roughly 20–30 million transactions a day, with 99.9%+ availability on critical services.
    • Owned the DevOps, CI/CD and release estate across Azure DevOps, Jenkins, TeamCity and Octopus Deploy, cutting release effort by about 40%.
    • Modernised the legacy AngularJS estate, moving 5+ applications and about 65% of the interface in phases without disrupting the business.
    • Built an Alexa voice application for the Cards business, from concept to a compliant production release.
    • Hired, mentored and grew a 35-member organisation of engineers and leads.

  2. 2015 – 2016

    Technical Operations Manager

    Supreme Logix Solutions, Udupi

    • Delivered features and platform upgrades, including salary payment work, for an HR and payroll software client.
    • Set up technical operations from scratch for an early-stage company.

  3. 2014 – 2015

    Project Manager

    TechSignia Solutions, Pune

    • Delivered application development for International Bank of Qatar, including an on-site engagement with the bank's teams in Qatar.

  4. 2009 – 2014

    Technical Lead

    Euronet Worldwide, Cerritos, California and Pune

    • Technical lead for Ria Money Transfer applications, Euronet's global remittance business.
    • Designed .NET APIs, WCF services and SQL Server data access tuned for fast retrieval.
    • Star Performer Award, 2011, for application architecture and technical mentoring.

  5. 2007 – 2009

    Senior Software Developer

    Fox Interactive Media, Beverly Hills, California

    • Built web applications for MySpace.com, then one of the largest social networks in the world, at very high traffic volumes.
